The start up meeting for Rockyford Minor Hockey/Ringette Association will take place on Tuesday, September 25 at 7 p.m. upstairs in the arena. There will be a draw for a discount one Hockey fee and one ringette fee. You will have to be present to participate in the draw. Jersey fittings will be held on Tuesday evening, October 2, 2018 for both Ringette and Hockey players.

Hand in Hand Strathmore Parent Link is back at the Rockyford Library with their fantastic program, Let’s Grow Together. Parents or caregivers participate with their 0-6 year old child in play, rhymes, activities, and stories. Access information and resources to help your child develop on track in the areas of: fine motor skills, gross motor skills, problem solving, social emotional development, and speech & language. This free program runs for six weeks, on Tuesday afternoons from 12:45 until 2:15, beginning on September 20. You can create a “Sugar Skull” acrylic painting at the Rockyford Library’s Paint Night in the Village, Thursday, September 20, at 7:00 p.m. Instruction and all supplies are provided with registration. You don’t need any previous knowledge or experience to join in the fun. Please register in advance at the Rockyford Library as space is limited.
Rockyford Library memberships are free to purchase or renew until December 31. This card gives you access to many partner libraries in the Marigold Library System as well as other public libraries and systems throughout Alberta. Borrow books, magazines, movies, music, or access any of the numerous databases available to you at no additional charge. We are located in the Community Centre, at the north entrance.
