I know we are all patiently waiting for the weather to improve. It’s bound to come eventually.

The lucky winner of the Munson 400 Raffle draw for September 22 was Krista Murray. Congratulations and thank you for buying a ticket.

Don’t forget about the coupon fundraiser at the Morrin School. The books are available for Calgary, Southern Alberta, Red Deer and Edmonton areas. A portion of the proceeds stay with the school to supplement activities. These little books more than pay for themselves in savings. For more information you can contact Terra Adams or the Morrin School directly.

Don’t forget tickets are for sale for the Halloween Supper and Dance on October 26 at the Munson Community Hall. Dara Kudras and Krystal Sharpe have all the details.

Mark your calendar for the annual turkey supper which will take place at the Munson Community Hall on October 18.

The Munson Fire Department is holding a supper and dance on November 10. Music by Dangerous Cheese. For more information contact Dan at 403-820-0412.

This week we said good bye to my uncle, Vic Verstrepen, who passed away on September 16. Some of you may remember his very successful autobody shop in Nacmine, Riverview Autobody, which he ran for many years until his retirement. He was a kind gentle soul with a great sense of humor that will be missed by all who knew him.

Be kind and have a good week.
