The Drumheller Mail - - NEWS - Eva Nielsen (403) 364-3964

We were deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Lorraine Jorgensen at the Foothills Hospital in Calgary, after a serious illness. Deepest sympathy of the community to Arnold, Shelly, Shannon, Sheryl, Patty, and all of Lorraine’s extended family and friends. Lorraine and Arnold lived in Delia for many years, where Lorraine was a member of the Village Council, and they both were very active in community life. Her loss is felt deeply among the many friends she has in our village, and sincere condolences go out to her family at this difficult time.

A few Delia residents were on the Getaway Tours Bus to Moose Jaw last week and report an enjoyable time with great weather, except for a rainy trip through Saskatchewan on the way home. I went and had a great time, which is why there was no column last week. Sorry about that, but I needed to get away.

Happy birthday to Nancy Stiles on the October 23 and to Harry Thompson, who will celebrate his birthday on October 26. Have a super day!
