The Rockyford Lions Club will be having a Steak and Lobster Supper on Saturday, November 24, 2018 at the Community Centre. Cocktails are at 6 p.m. with dinner to follow at 6:30 p.m. Proceeds from this fund- raiser will go to the Curling Club and Community betterment. Tickets are available from any Lion member.
The Rockyford Roughnecks (Bantam) hockey team is hosting their home tournament this weekend (November 9 - 11).
The Remembrance Day Service will take place on Sunday, November 11 at the Community Centre starting at 10:30 a.m. There will be a luncheon after the service.
The Rockyford Friendship Club will be hosting a Christmas Tea on Saturday, November 24 from 2 - 4 p.m. There will be a craft table, a bake table and a silent auction. Everyone is most welcome to attend.
Rockyford’s “Christmas Commotion” will be held on Saturday, December 8 at the Community Centre. Stay tuned for more information in next week’s column.

Family Paint is from 10 until noon on Saturday, November 17; and Paint Night begins at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 29. Snowmen are the theme for November. Time is running out to register for the stencilled wooden blocks project at Rockyford Library, November 15, at 7:00 p.m. Register on or before November 8 at the Rockyford Library and select the stencils you want to use for your project. Contact the library to select your four sets of stencils as soon as possible.
