Hospice needs votes for com­mu­nity fund

COLLING­WOOD — For more than eight years, the Aviva com­mu­nity fund has been help­ing com­mu­nity projects with grants up to $ 100,000. The fund has been de­signed to gift the groups through a vot­ing ma­trix over a pe­riod of 10 days. This year, Hospice Ge­or­gian Tri­an­gle is be­ing con­sid­ered for help with their Sanc­tu­ary Gar­den project. The first round of vot­ing is open now un­til Oct. 19. You can help by reg­is­ter­ing at https:// www. avi­va­com­mu­ni­ty­fund. org/ cms/ get- in­volved. You will be given 18 votes to use as you like, and you have the op­tion to use them all at once. Since its in­cep­tion in 2009, the Aviva Com­mu­nity Fund has awarded $ 7.5 mil­lion to over 250 char­i­ties and com­mu­nity groups across Canada.
