Intersection head-scratcher

The Expositor (Brantford) - - OPINION -

Further to the topic of ridiculous road markings, I offer the intersection of Powerline Road and Park Road North. Most major intersections in Brantford have left turn lanes to enable through traffic to keep flowing. Park Road North, going north and south, has left turn lanes. But Powerline has a right turn lane. Why? All it does is delay traffic going east and west along Powerline. Vehicles get stuck behind left-turning cars, causing a needless lineup of those wanting to drive through. Sometimes, motorists must sit through two traffic light cycles.

It would please many if this situation is rectified. Don’t wait until there is an accident before you do something.
