Food drive a success

The Expositor (Brantford) - - NEWS -

More than 40,000 pounds of food was collected in the Thanks 4 Giving Municipal Food Drive. That surpasses the collection goal by more than 10,000 pounds. The annual drive ran throughout October. Fresh, frozen and nonperishable food was donated by the community through individual, corporate and community group contributions and food drives. The donations will help the food bank provide emergency assistance to an average of 2,300 individuals, including singles, families, children and seniors, each month. Donations are always needed and can be dropped off at local grocery stores and at the Brantford food bank, 1100 Clarence St. S.
