The open house is part of a province-wide initiative by the Ontario Retirement Communities Association (ORCA) to showcase services for people looking for assisted living. The open house will also introduce residents and dedicated & dynamic staff.

Guests will also have the opportunity to meet residents such as Bruce and Inez Leakey who have lived at Carveth Retirement Lodge for more than three years.

Married for 64 years, the duo spends their days reading and working on puzzles. Smiling on a warm summer afternoon, they admit they love their full and active life at Carveth Retirement Lodge.

“Whatmakes the place the best is the great staff,” says Bruce, 82.“There is a lot of good people working here.”

Sitting in matching reclining chairs as birds chirp outside their open patio door, the couple looks happy and relaxed.

“We still have our car,” says Inez warmly. “We can motor-up the street whenever we want.

“We’re quite cozy here,” she adds softly. “We would recommend this place to anyone. We have everything we need.”

“This open house is a perfect time to drop-in and discover an environment that meets your current requirements as well as your future needs ,” says the Administrator “We want thecommunity to seewhat makes Carveth Retirement Lodge special.
