HIK­ING/SNOWSHOEING: 10 a.m. Get ac­tive while en­joy­ing the won­ders that sur­round us ev­ery­day! Ev­ery two weeks the group will meet at a trail to get lost in to­gether. Learn about na­tive plants and an­i­mals, be mindful or just en­joy the fresh air. No snow­shoes? No prob­lem! Check out the recre­ation li­brary in Lans­downe to bor­row some. Classes are geared to­wards per­sonal abil­ity, and in­clude func­tional ex­er­cises. This pro­gram meets spe­cific Heart Wise Ex­er­cise stan­dards des­ig­nated by the Uni­ver­sity of Ot­tawa Heart In­sti­tute. No ex­pe­ri­ence re­quired.
