Located on County Road 2, in the Township of South Glengarry, Charlottenburgh Park encompasses a total of 234.7 acres of green space.
The park features a diverse environment with many types of ecosystems including white pine and spruce plantations, a mixed hardwood forest, Class 2 Provincially Significant wetlands, Lake St. Francis and its tributaries, meadows and a Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) managed forest area.
This site is quickly developing into a large outdoor classroom for school children as well as a relaxing “meeting room” or company “picnic area” for local businesses and a “playground” for residents and visitors alike that is unprecedented in all of Eastern Ontario.
A recent addition is the luxury camping cabin. AS ADVERTISED: The Opportunity Knox Bargain Centre in Lancaster is overseen by the United Church parish.
