Com­pany on the move

RayJans Win­dows and Doors is on the move. While re­tain­ing its lo­ca­tion in Corn­wall, the com­pany is grow­ing, set­ting up a new lo­ca­tion at 727 rue Prin­ci­pale in Cas­sel­man.

The firm’s roots go back to 1955 when Olivier Charlebois founded O. Charlebois Alu­minum Prod­ucts Inc. Over the last five decades, the com­pany has evolved. It be­gan car­ry­ing prod­ucts such as alu­minum win­dows and sid­ing and later ex­panded to of­fer other alu­minum prod­ucts such as awn­ings. In 1984, Pete La­tour pur­chased the firm and moved it to its cur­rent premises at 840 Campbell St. At the same time, the com­pany be­gan sell­ing prod­ucts such as fi­bre­glass decks, alu­minum rail­ings, col­umns and vinyl frame win­dows. In 2011, fol­low­ing the death of Mr. La­tour, the op­er­a­tion was by Gary Jans and Ray Brunet to com­ple­ment Ray-Jans Con­struc­tion Inc.
