Moose Creek mega shopping mecca

Moose Creek may be small but the Moose Creek Mall is a big draw.

Richard’s Men’s Wear, Vimi Shoes and Chez Thérèse are the main attractions at the shopping mecca on the village’s main street. The stores continue to attract customers from the immediate area as well as from other parts of Eastern Ontario and Québec.

Richard’s Men’s Wear offers a wide range of clothing from jeans to formal attire.

Some popular items at the store include no-iron shirts made of 100 per cent cotton, for sport and dress wear. The shop also carries Point Zero and Haggar brand products. It also sells a range of stylish suits. Quality is always a sound investment, which explains why informed consumers are glad to drive to Moose Creek to pick up high-end clothing.

Next door, Barbara Renaud, is the third-generation family owner of Chez Thérèse Clothing & Gifts.

The store is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year. A large selection of dresses as well as dress and casual fashions.

The store also carries a number of popular brand lines, including Joseph Ribkoff, Columbia Sportswear and Point Zero. Vimi Shoes features well-known women’s and men’s footwear. Consumers are looking for looks that are “multi-functional.” When people are buying boots for themselves or as gifts they are looking for a product that is both dressy and sporty. They also like lamb’s wool lining and footwear that is low maintenance.

Convenience and accessibility are additional reasons why the mall is such a popular destination for gift seekers.
