Impaired snowmobiling charge
A 44-year-old South Glengarry man was arrested last week for allegedly operating a snowmobile while under the influence of alcohol. Andy Shaver was charged with driving a motor vehicle while impaired, driving a motor vehicle with a bloodalcohol concentration ( BAC) exceeding the legal limit of 80 milligrams of alcohol per 100 millilitres of blood, and two counts of failing to comply with a probation order. Mr. Shaver was pulled over by the OPP on Sand Road in South Glengarry just before 3 a.m. February 26. He was later released and is scheduled to appear in Alexandria court April 8.
A 19- year- old Alfred-Plantagenet Township woman was recently charged with uttering a threat after she allegedly threatened another woman at a property on County Road 20 in North Glengarry. Melany Roy is scheduled to appear in Alexandria court April 8.
