Im­paired snow­mo­bil­ing charge

A 44-year-old South Glen­garry man was ar­rested last week for al­legedly op­er­at­ing a snow­mo­bile while un­der the in­flu­ence of al­co­hol. Andy Shaver was charged with driv­ing a mo­tor ve­hi­cle while im­paired, driv­ing a mo­tor ve­hi­cle with a blood­al­co­hol con­cen­tra­tion ( BAC) ex­ceed­ing the le­gal limit of 80 mil­ligrams of al­co­hol per 100 millil­itres of blood, and two counts of fail­ing to com­ply with a pro­ba­tion order. Mr. Shaver was pulled over by the OPP on Sand Road in South Glen­garry just be­fore 3 a.m. Feb­ru­ary 26. He was later re­leased and is sched­uled to ap­pear in Alexan­dria court April 8.

Threats

A 19- year- old Al­fred-Plan­ta­genet Township woman was re­cently charged with ut­ter­ing a threat after she al­legedly threat­ened an­other woman at a prop­erty on County Road 20 in North Glen­garry. Me­lany Roy is sched­uled to ap­pear in Alexan­dria court April 8.
