Men face voyeurism, harassment, luring charges
A 56-year-old North Glengarry man has been charged following an ongoing investigation into incidents of voyeurism.
Roderick Welburn has been charged with two counts of voyeurism and one count of criminal harassment, reports the Stormont- Dundas- Glengarry Ontario Provincial Police detachment.
The investigation indicated that between March and April, 2017, the man had attended a residence on County Road 24, North Glengarry Township and peered through a window of the home on two occasions.
A 64-year-old North Glengarry man has been charged with invitation to sexual touching involving a person under 16 years of age.
Robert Leroux was arrested May 15 when officers responded to a report of a suspicious male at a property on Derby Street, Alexandria.
The man had attempted to lure two girls but no contact was made and no injuries resulted.
He was released and is scheduled to appear in Alexandria court June 7.
A 32- year- old man was charged with assault, two counts of uttering threats and one count of domestic mischief following a domestic incident involving his partner at a residence on Military Road in South Glengarry May 6, and incidents from November, 2016 and last month.
On the night of May 12-13, crooks stole a laptop computer and PlayStation game console from a residence on Glen Road, South Glengarry Township. The culprits also caused extensive damage in the home and garage.
Nikita Perdro, 26, of Brampton, Ont., was charged with marijuana possession following an OPP Highway Safety Division (HSD) traffic stop on Highway 401 in South Glengarry April 28.
Ms. Perdro is scheduled to appear in court at a later date.
A 17- year- old Mont Royal, Que. male youth was charged with marijuana possession (under 30 grams) following an OPP traffic stop on the 401 in South Glengarry May 4. The suspect is scheduled to appear in Alexandria court June 7.
