Many artists opened their homes, or brought their work to an­other venue, to take part in the an­nual Ap­ples and Arts Stu­dio Tour. Above: Mitch Cor­riveau, a tex­tile artist who op­er­ates out of The Millinery at Cor­ner­stone Farm on Beaupre Road near Green Val­ley, shows a home­made felt hat. Mak­ing hats is his big pas­sion, though his store also sells jams made from lo­cal berries, maple syrup made on his farm, and soap made from goat milk. Deirdre Cuggy of the Brown House Road with acrylic paint­ings which she dis­played at Cyn­thia Ga­tien’s home in South Lan­caster. Ms. Cuggy, who en­joys paint­ing land­scapes, is a three-year veteran of the tour. Be­low, Betty Healey was at the Quirky Car­rot in Alexan­dria to show off some of her acrylic paint­ings on tis­sue pa­per. Ms. Healey hails from North Lan­caster.
