Do you feel like a Lud­dite when it comes to technology? Would you like to learn to use elec­tronic mail? Tri-County Lit­er­acy Coun­cil is of­fer­ing a new train­ing pro­gram called “Email 101.” Stu­dents will cre­ate a free email ac­count and learn to for­mat mes­sages us­ing pop­u­lar fea­tures, cre­ate an elec­tronic ad­dress book, or­ga­nize mes­sages by cre­at­ing cat­e­gory fold­ers, send mes­sages with doc­u­ments at­tached, re­ply to mes­sages, learn about email eti­quette and safety, as well as link to other free com­mu­nity re­sources. Class runs Mon­day to Thurs­day 9 a.m. to noon for four weeks, start­ing Fe­bru­ary 12. For more in­for­ma­tion call 613-932-7161.
