Doreen is known as an event planner. She has organized a variety of fundraising concerts for CHEO and Ronald MacDonald House. She works tirelessly for the Clan MacLeod Society and has organized the popular January curling day, July picnic and September golf day. The Kirkin' ‘O’ the Tartan, a well-loved annual event at St. Columba Church the Sunday after the Highland Games also owes much of its success to Doreen.
