Chilly Willy run

The 4th an­nual Chilly Willy run will be held Satur­day, Nov. 3, at Wil­liamstown’s Sir John John­son Manor House. The event fea­tures scenic 5 k, 10 k, and half marathon cour­ses.

Le Re­lais soc­cer

The se­nior girls soc­cer team from le Re­lais kicked off its PRSSAA sea­son last week in Plan­ta­genet with a trio of tri­umphs: 1-0 against le Som­met, 9-0 ver­sus the hosts, and 10-1 over Cas­sel­man. Amongst the goal scor­ers were Myr­iam Boisv­enue, Sara Car­rière, Kait­lyn Le­feb­vre, Oli­vianne Devine, and Olivia Dé­coeur.

In ju­nior play, les Rapi­des were blanked 5-0 by Cas­sel­man and 2-0 by St. Thomas-Aquinas.

Lowe to na­tion­als

Ben Lowe and his Bishop’s Univer­sity men’s golf team have qual­i­fied for U-Sports na­tion­als. The teen shot a 74 – his best of the sea­son – in the fi­nal round of Que­bec play­offs.
