SUSAN RHODA MCNEIL

The Globe and Mail (Ottawa/Quebec Edition) - - BIRTH AND DEATH NOTICES -

It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Susan Rhoda McNeil (nee Anker). Sue died peacefully but unexpectedly at her home in Surrey, England on October 27, 2018 at the age of 58. Sue will be forever remembered by her beloved children, Jennifer and Alex; her cherished chocolate lab, Tilly Mae; her mum, Penny; and her three siblings, Jacquie, Tim, and Robyn.

Sue was one of a kind and had an unparalleled zest for life. Whether she was swimming, playing tennis, watching musical theatre, going to the movies, visiting the dog park or having a G&T at the pub, she made a lasting impact on everyone she met, not just people - but animals too.

After living in Toronto, Canada since the early ’90s, in 2015 Sue made the exciting decision to return to the UK where she continued to live life to its fullest, regularly travelling across Europe, enjoying new experiences at every stop and within six months, had set up a flourishing business. Sue was enormously proud of her children and the people they had become and rarely refused an opportunity to boast about their accomplishments.

Our dear Susie has left us far too soon and we are completely heartbroken.
