Mem­o­rable Men of Huron Cal­en­dar

Huron County, ON– Look­ing for a unique gift for that hard to buy for friend or fam­ily mem­ber? In com­mem­o­ra­tion of the Alzheimer So­ci­ety of Huron County’s 25th An­niver­sary, the 2018 Mem­o­rable Men of Huron Cal­en­dar would be the per­fect fit.

These cal­en­dars high­light some of the amazing gen­tle­man that live, work and en­ter­tain in Huron County.

“The cal­en­dar con­tains stun­ning pho­tos, many that are recre­ations of pic­tures from the past,” says Cathy Rit­sema, Ex­ec­u­tive Di­rec­tor of the Alzheimer So­ci­ety.

“We were ex­cited to part­ner with Miss Mar­cie Me­dia, and Dianne Bran­don Pho­tog­ra­phy, amongst many other lo­cal in­di­vid­u­als and busi­nesses on this project.”

Pro­ceeds from the cal­en­dar will sup­port pro­grams and ser­vices for peo­ple af­fected by de­men­tia in Huron County.

There are cur­rently over 1200 peo­ple in Huron County liv­ing with Alzheimer’s dis­ease and other de­men­tias, and that num­ber is ex­pected to rise by 58 per­cent in the next fif­teen years.

Come cel­e­brate the Mem­o­rable Men of Huron Cal­en­dar Launch on Oc­to­ber 12 from 7:00-9:00pm at Hessen­land Coun­try Inn.

Tick­ets are avail­able for $ 15, and the evening in­cludes: a com­pli­men­tary re­fresh­ment, hor d’oeu­vres, and live mu­sic with Greg Gal­lello.

Spe­cial guests will in­clude some of the fab­u­lous fel­las that are fea­tured in the cal­en­dar.

Cal­en­dars are $20 and are avail­able at the Alzheimer So­ci­ety of Huron County of­fice in Clin­ton.

You can also find them at Bran­don’s Hard­ware in Bay­field, the Ex­eter Times Ad­vo­cate in Ex­eter and other lo­ca­tions through­out Huron County.
