Huron County Crimes of the Month
Huron County Crime Stoppers and the Huron County OPP are asking for your assistance in solving the following:
• Theft occurrence. Sometime between June 29 and July 4, 2018 unknown suspects attended at a residence located on Andrew Street, Exeter. Once there, they used a grinder to remove a lock on a trailer and then proceeded to steal several tools. Included in these tools was a yellow Dewalt 12“sliding compound mitre saw, a Dewalt folding mitre saw stand on wheels and a Craftsman skill saw. • Mischief occurrence. Sometime between June 29 and July 3, 2018 unknown suspects attended at a job site located on Church Camp Road, Ashfield-ColborneWawanosh. Once there, they started up the excavator and began digging, causing damage to a tree, telephone box and wire.
• Break, enter and theft occurrence. During the mid-afternoon on July 11, 2018 two shorter, heavyset females with olive skin entered a residence located on Brinicombe Crescent, Goderich. One of these females was wearing a teal shirt. Shortly afterwards, they were interrupted by the occupant as they were rummaging through drawers in the bedroom. The female suspects then fled on foot with a quantity of jewellery. • Mischief occurrence. Sometime overnight on July 14 and 15, 2018 unknown suspects attended at a business located on Devon Street, Clinton. Once there, they attempted to pry open the door on a cooler trailer, but were unsuccessful. Surveillance footage shows two male suspects arrived in a Pontiac Montana van.
