OPP drug warrant executed in Seaforth
(HURON EAST, ON) On Wednesday, September 26, 2018, members from the Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Detachment along with the Huron-Perth & GreyBruce Community Street Crimes Units (CSCU) executed a Controlled Drugs and Substances Act (CDSA) search warrant at a residence located on Main Street South in Seaforth.
As a result of the execution of the search warrant, police seized hydromorphone, methamphetamine, cannabis marihuana and drug paraphernalia. The estimated, combined value of the seized controlled substances is $400.
Police also seized stolen property that consisted of a stolen passport, SIN card, Outdoors Card, driver’s licences, health cards and banking cards.
A man of 27 years of age from Seaforth and a man of 25 years of age from Clinton have been charged with Possession of a Schedule I Substance - Methamphetamine, Possession of a Schedule I Substance Hydromorphone and Possession of a Schedule II Substance - Cannabis Marihuana.
Both were released from custody with a court appearance scheduled for October 29, 2018 at the Ontario Court of Justice - Goderich.
A man of 30 years of age from Clinton has been charged with Possession of a Schedule I Substance - Methamphetamine, Possession of a Schedule I Substance - Hydromorphone, Possession of a Schedule II Substance - Cannabis Marihuana and Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5,000 (3 counts). He was released from custody with a court appearance scheduled for October 29, 2018 at the Ontario Court of Justice - Goderich.

(SOUTH HURON, ON) Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is seeking tips from the public in relation to some recent thefts of Kubota tractors that have been stolen in South Huron. The first reported incident took place overnight on September 9, 2018 at a business located on Kirkton Road just east of Exeter. A Kubota L3010 tractor, a Kubota RTV utility vehicle and a Stihl backpack style leaf blower were all stolen from a maintenance (CENTRAL HURON, ON) - A 26-year-old from Central Huron has been charged with Impaired Driving and Over 80 following a traffic stop that took place in Londesboro this past weekend. Just after 1:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 15, 2018 Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers received information about a possible impaired driver travelling toward Londesboro. At approximately 1:14 a.m. police observed the driver of the suspect vehicle operating in an erratic shed located on the property. The following day the stolen Kubotas were recovered in a parking lot in Exeter however the leaf blower remains outstanding. The next incident took place in Exeter on Huron Street East sometime overnight on September 18, 2018. A thief attended the property and stole an orange 2016 Kubota tractor, model BX2670 valued at $15,000. The tractor had been parked near the residence garage. manner on Main Street in Londesboro. Prior to initiating a traffic stop the driver pulled into a laneway on Main Street and came to a stop.
Moments later the driver exited his vehicle and was greeted by the officer. Upon speaking with the male driver it was evident the driver had consumed some alcohol and was displaying several signs of impairment.
As a result, the driver was placed under arrest for Impaired Driving and was transported to the Huron Detachment for breath tests. He subsequently provided That same night in Exeter a second Kubota tractor was stolen from an Abbey Lane residence. A dollar value has yet to be determined for this stolen tractor.

A man of 26 years of age, from Central Huron has been charged with Impaired Driving and Drive Motor Vehicle With Over 80 Milligrams of Alcohol.
He has since been released from custody with a court date scheduled for October 15, 2018 at the Ontario Court of Justice - Goderich. His vehicle was impounded for a week and his licence has been suspended for an automatic 90 days.
