A happy and safe Halloween

The Guardian (Charlottetown) - - Editorial -

Motorists are urged to exercise extra caution this evening as children make their annual trick or treat rounds for Halloween. Youngsters are excited and their vision may be hampered by their costumes. Some may not be as careful crossing streets as they should be. Besides looking for treats, many young Halloween enthusiasts will be assisting various charities. Some are collecting for the food bank while others will be doing their part to help grant the wish of an Island child by participating in the annual Children’s Wish Foundation Halloween Coin Campaign.

Islanders are urged to be generous, as well as extra cautious, today. So slow down, and ensure that everyone has a safe and happy Halloween.
