New version might work

The Guardian (Charlottetown) - - EDITORIAL -

I won’t dispute Brian MacDonald’s version of Avonlea Village (“Village changes reduces appeal,” Guardian) because I never went there.

He says the new version now has “expensive touristy restaurants”. Perhaps it will work, perhaps not. But if it had been working the way it was, they probably wouldn’t have changed it. I never took my kids because of ‘expensive touristy’ admission fees.

Hopefully the new version will work. Good luck to them and all tourism folks; let’s hope we get some summer. Lloyd Kerry Charlottetown
