Peace­fully with her fam­ily by her side at the Queen El­iz­a­beth Hos­pi­tal on Tues­day, June 30, 2015 of Ber­nice McQuil­lan of Elm­wood age 79 years. Beloved wife of the late Ray­mond McQuil­lan and dear mother of Adele, Dar­lene, Cathy, Ger­ard (Liz), Pa­tri­cia, Jim (Rose) and Ber­nadette. Lov­ing Nanny of Brad ( Jenny), Adam, Maria, Emily, Ai­den and great grand­mother of Blake, Sa­hara and Ju­dah. Sis­ter of He­len John­ston (Ge­orge dec.), Bobby (Barb), Frankie (Sue dec), Lynda Gallant (Ray), Eleanor Gallant (Cody), Roma Bruce (Lyle), Al­fie and Clifford Cud­more (Anne). Sis­ter-in-law of Theresa and Elaine Cud­more.She is also fondly re­mem­bered by many nieces and neph­ews. Ber­nice was also pre­de­ceased by her par­ents James and Mary (Smith) Cud­more, sis­ters Phyl­lis Koughan, An­nie McCar­dle and broth­ers Lorne, Leo, Bren­don and Ray­mond Cud­more. Rest­ing at the Hen­nessey Cut­cliffe Char­lot­te­town Fu­neral Home un­til Fri­day, then trans­ferred to St. Ann’s Church, Lot 65, Emy­vale for fu­neral mass at 12:00 p.m. In­ter­ment will fol­low in St. Ann’s Parish Ceme­tery. Vis­it­ing hours will be held on Thurs­day from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. In lieu of flow­ers con­tri­bu­tions in mem­ory of Ber­nice may be made to the St. Ann’s Parish Ceme­tery Fund or the Beach Grove Home Se­niors Ac­tiv­ity Fund.
