1 Food Fight­ers 9 p.m. on (GLO), (NBC-B), (NBC-D) Not only do the com­peti­tors have weekly cook-offs against each other, they also have them against ri­vals of dif­fer­ent ages as the sec­ond sea­son of this con­test be­gins, with Adam Rich­man (“Man Finds Food”) re­turn­ing as host. Young­sters vie with adult en­trants to im­press — and also square off against — celebrity chefs. Any home cook who en­dures through all five rounds will win $100,000.

2 Be­yond Scared Straight 10 p.m. on (A&E) Deputy Lyle of the Floyd County Jail uses his skills — and a va­ri­ety of ap­proaches rang­ing from coax­ing to bul­ly­ing to com­fort­ing — as he tries to re­di­rect a car­jack­ing gang­banger, a shoplift­ing party girl, a bru­tal fighter and a thief who robs old ladies to­ward more pro­duc­tive fu­tures in the new episode “Floyd, Ga.: Dep. Lyle Lays Down the Law.”

3 Way­ward Pines 10 p.m. on (FOX-R) A bomb left in his car makes Ethan (Matt Dil­lon) re­al­ize he may have learned too much about the town in the new episode “Be­trayal.” He won­ders if one or more of the lo­cals in whom he placed his trust could be bent on elim­i­nat­ing him. Kate and Harold (Carla Gug­ino, Reed Diamond) meet with Nurse Pam (Melissa Leo) on fer­til­ity-re­lated mat­ters. Ben and Amy (Char­lie Ta­han, guest star Sarah Jef­fery) get closer.

4 Aquarius 10 p.m. on (NBC-B), (NBC-D) Given the Los An­ge­les set­ting of this drama, it’s likely that Hol­ly­wood would play into it — and it does, in a homi­ci­dal way, in the new episode “Cease to Re­sist.” A celebrity is mur­dered, but a stu­dio’s ex­ec­u­tives try to pre­vent Ho­diak (David Du­chovny) from solv­ing the crime. Emma and Sadie (Emma Du­mont, Am­byr Childers) learn more about Man­son (Gethin An­thony) from some­one who’s a part of his history. Grey Damon and Claire Holt also star.

5 Hannibal 11 p.m. on (NBC-B), (NBC-D) Though Jack Craw­ford (Lau­rence Fish­burne) thinks he has a part­ner in In­spec­tor Pazzi (guest star For­tu­nato Cer­lino) as they search for Hannibal (Mads Mikkelsen) in the new episode “Con­torno,” the Ital­ian po­lice­man may have a sep­a­rate agenda con­nected to Ma­son Verger (guest star Joe An­der­son). 6 Amer­i­can Take­down 11:01 p.m. on (A&E) In the new episode “Dog Fight­ing,” The Hu­mane So­ci­ety of the United States teams up with a lo­cal sher­iff’s depart­ment in a bid to res­cue more than 40 abused dogs as the of­fi­cials in­ves­ti­gate a man who is sus­pected of breed­ing, train­ing and selling ca­nines to be used in vi­cious dog-fight­ing bouts.
