Mur­ray Har­bour Drama Club to host first ceilidh of sea­son

Mur­ray Har­bour Drama Club and Friends will hold its first ceilidh of the year on Fri­day, July 3, at 7:30 p.m. at the Mur­ray Har­bour Com­mu­nity Cen­tre, 27 Park Street, Mur­ray Har­bour.

The Mur­ray Har­bour Six will be start­ing off the evening’s en­ter­tain­ment with Mel Gid­dings. Wayne MacLean will play mu­sic on his gui­tar. Kenny Chap­man, with his fid­dle and man­dolin, and Amy Swen­son, will be fid­dling up a storm, along with Joanne Ford, play­ing fid­dle and singing har­mony and also pick­ing on the ukulele.

MC Louis Penny will sing some coun­try tunes.

Len Buell and Edna McMaster will be join­ing us with lots of their crowd pleas­ing mu­si­cal sounds and hu­mour.

Louis MacKay will bring per­form coun­try and gospel mu­sic.

Mar­ion Bruce will also sing gospel and coun­try selections. Leith and Evie Lou McCar­ron will join her on stage, singing har­mony.
