Murray Harbour Drama Club to host first ceilidh of season

Murray Harbour Drama Club and Friends will hold its first ceilidh of the year on Friday, July 3, at 7:30 p.m. at the Murray Harbour Community Centre, 27 Park Street, Murray Harbour.

The Murray Harbour Six will be starting off the evening’s entertainm­ent with Mel Giddings. Wayne MacLean will play music on his guitar. Kenny Chapman, with his fiddle and mandolin, and Amy Swenson, will be fiddling up a storm, along with Joanne Ford, playing fiddle and singing harmony and also picking on the ukulele.

MC Louis Penny will sing some country tunes.

Len Buell and Edna McMaster will be joining us with lots of their crowd pleasing musical sounds and humour.

Louis MacKay will bring perform country and gospel music.

Marion Bruce will also sing gospel and country selections. Leith and Evie Lou McCarron will join her on stage, singing harmony.
