1 Hollywood Game Night 8 p.m. on (CTV); 11:01 p.m. on (NBC-B), (NBC-D) After adding an Emmy last year for her work on this show to the one she already had for “Glee,” Jane Lynch returns as the high-energy host as Season 3 of the competition begins with “Two Janes Are Better Than One.” Lynch maintains a party atmosphere as two teams — each consisting of three celebrities, here including Jesse Tyler Ferguson (“Modern Family”) and music’s John Legend, and an everyday citizen — vie to answer questions in a variety of games. 2 Fresh Off the Boat 9 p.m. on (ABC-B) A visit by Jessica’s (Constance Wu) sister Connie (guest star Susan Park) and her family means different things to different members of the Huang household in “Success Perm.” Eddie (Hudson Yang) gets a disappointing surprise after looking forward to being reunited with his cousin (guest star Lance Lim). The adults continue their long-standing rivalry over which of the couples is more successful. C.S. Lee (“Dexter”) also guest stars.
3 Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader? 9 p.m. on (FOX-R) The realty game is one thing and this game is quite another, as house broker “Briana” discovers firsthand in a new episode by that name. She tackles grade-school-level questions in a bid to win $1 million, and she may need some help along the way ... from the fifth-graders who are on hand to lend such assistance if needed. Host Jeff Foxworthy also stands by to provide support or offer a quip, depending on what a given moment calls for. 4 Fool Canada 9:30 p.m. on (CBC) In a new episode, transportation officer Richard Move (Will Sasso) travels to “cottage country” to inspect boats, while bylaw enforcer Ian Yard (Sam Kalilieh) installs a bridge for bears in the yard of a Whistler homeowner. Elsewhere, a tourist in Peggy’s Cove tests the limits of patience, and a testy park ranger (Craig Lauzon) proves to be a stickler when it comes to enforcing picnic rules. Also: The Town Crier (Sandy Jobin-Bevans) makes a love connection in Ottawa, Ontario’s By Ward Market. 5 Zoo 10 p.m. on (CTV) (CBS-B) With Jackson’s (James Wolk) help, Abraham (Nonso Anozie) survives a lion attack in Botswana in the new episode “Fight or Flight.” The peril he faced leads Abraham to conclude that animals have decided to make humans their prey. In Los Angeles, Jamie and Mitch (Kristen Connolly, Billy Burke) suspect that a chemical may have something to do with the sudden rampages. Chloe (Nora Arnezeder) tries to get back to normalcy in Paris. Ken Olin and Bess Armstrong guest star.
