The fu­neral mass for Au­drey Hamill, of Mid­dle­ton, was held on Satur­day, June 27, 2015 at St. Malachy’s Church, Kinkora, and cel­e­brated at 10 a.m. by Rev. Doug Mac­Don­ald, who pro­claimed the Gospel and de­liv­ered the homily. Cross bearer was Len­nie John­ston. Mass servers were Betty Smith and Frank McCar­dle. The first read­ing from Ec­cle­si­astes was pro­claimed by niece, Ni­cole Drum­mond, and the sec­ond read­ing from the First Let­ter of Paul to the Thes­sa­lo­ni­ans was pro­claimed by niece, Marilynn Reeves. Prayers of the faith­ful were led by niece, Maribeth Neale. Hymns sung by Dino and Sheila Dunsford were: En­trance, Hail Mary, Gen­tle Woman; of­fer­tory, Peace is Flow­ing Like a River; com­mu­nion, Come to The Wa­ter; and re­ces­sional, Sing to the Moun­tains. Ush­ers were Pat O’Con­nor and Joe O’Con­nor. Eucharis­tic min­is­ters were Paula Smith and Barb McCar­dle. Pall­bear­ers were Pa­trick Mac­Don­ald, Ryan Hamill, Joey Neale, Justin Rogers, Steven Hamill and Christo­pher Drum­mond. Flower­bear­ers were Laura Rogers, Holly Os­borne Mac­Don­ald, Michelle Mac­Don­ald, Julie Kelly and Mar­sha Ni­chol­son. Honorary pall­bear­ers were Bob and Gen Gallant, Rus­sell and Karen Noo­nan, Leonard and Barb McCar­dle, Linda Buote, Donny and Amy Rogers, Dr. Ron and Elaine Ni­chol­son, Denton and Cindy Af­fleck, David and Mariam Small­wood, Jim and Lorna Camp­bell and soft­ball hockey/broomball team mem­bers. Mem­bers of the CWL formed an hon­our guard at the fu­neral and said prayers on Fri­day, June 26, prior to the vis­i­ta­tion. In­ter­ment was in St. Malachy’s Church Ceme­tery with Fr. Doug Mac­Don­ald of­fi­ci­at­ing. A poem in her mem­ory was read by Kathy Reeves at the gravesite.
