The date ap­pears to be set for the Stan­ley Cup’s re­turn to Prince Ed­ward Is­land.

“Looks like the Stan­ley Cup will be in Mur­ray Har­bour, PEI July 28th. Can’t wait to do it again!!!” Brad Richards said on Twit­ter on Tues­day.

Richards, a 35-year-old Mur­ray Har­bour na­tive, was part of the Chicago Black­hawks Cup win on June 15.

They de­feated the Tampa Bay Light­ning in the six-game fi­nal.

Richards won the Cup in 2004 when he was the play­offs MVP with the Light­ning.

Richards, who was on a oneyear deal with Chicago, signed a one-year con­tract on Canada Day with the Detroit Red Wings.
