The fu­neral for Tina Mac­Don­ald, of Char­lot­te­town, was held on Tues­day, June 30, 2015 from Hen­nessey Cut­cliffe Char­lot­te­town Fu­neral Home to St. Pius X Church where the fu­neral mass was cel­e­brated by Rev­erend Mau­rice Praught, who also de­liv­ered the homily. The fu­neral pall was placed by her sis­ters, Lynn Mac­Don­ald, Kim Mac­Don­ald and Robin Mac­Don­ald. The first les­son was pro­claimed by co­worker, Ken­dra Dol­lar, and the sec­ond les­son was pro­claimed by niece, Rei­ley Mac­Don­ald. The prayers of in­ter­ces­sion were of­fered by aunt, Judy Driscoll. The fu­neral mass was sung by St. Pius X fu­neral choir un­der the di­rec­tion of or­gan­ist, Syn­thia MacEach­ern. Vi­o­lin­ist was Frank Le­chowich. Dur­ing the fu­neral, the choir sang the en­trance hymn, Lord Of All Hope­ful­ness; the of­fer­tory hymn, The Sum­mons; the com­mu­nion hymn, Bread Of Life; and the re­ces­sional hymn, How Great Thou Art. The pall­bear­ers were broth­ers, Robert Mac­Don­ald, Troy Mac­Don­ald, Todd Mac­Don­ald and Kent Mac­Don­ald, and co­work­ers, Don Cameron and Kendall Cot­ton. Honorary pall­bear­ers were all those in at­ten­dance. Among those at­tend­ing the fu­neral liturgy were rep­re­sen­ta­tives of First on Site. The in­ter­ment took place in the Ro­man Catholic Ceme­tery where Fa­ther Praught held the grave­side ser­vice.
