Stay cool

The Guardian (Charlottetown) - - ISLAND WEEKEND -

While everyone is happy to see the warm summer weather, it’s still important to tame the season’s high temperatures. Safe activities, hydration and light food add up to staying happy and healthy, says TOPS Club, Inc. (Take Off Pounds Sensibly), the nonprofit weight-loss support organization. Over the next several days, The Guardian will be running some of their tips to keep cool, even on summer’s hottest days: Spritz yourself. Keep a spray bottle in the refrigerator and when you come in from outside, give yourself a cool and refreshing spritz. As the water evaporates, it helps bring your body temperature down.
