Victoria Playhouse hosting Talkback Tuesdays after Sexy Laundry performances
The Victoria Playhouse has announced that Talkback Tuesdays will take place following the performance of “Sexy Laundry” on July 14, 21 and 28.
Talkbacks give the audience an opportunity to meet the actors and ask questions regarding the performance and the process.
Martha Irving plays Alice, a 50-something wife/mother/career woman, who finds herself in a mid-life crisis.
She arranges a get-away weekend in a swanky hip hotel with her husband, Henry, played by Rob MacLean and a copy of “Sex for Dummies”.
Sexy Laundry is a comedy with heart: the humour sheds light on a longtime relationship, with all its peaks and valleys.
“Talkbacks are always popular at the Playhouse,” says Pat Stunden Smith, managing director of the Victoria Playhouse.
“It’s an added bonus to the performance. Patrons get to ask those questions they have always wondered about and we have a lively, informal and informative discussion. We get great feedback from our talkbacks.”
“Sexy Laundry” plays Tuesday through Saturday at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday at 2 p.m. until Aug. 2.
