Surplus budget would save cuts

The Guardian (Charlottetown) - - EDITORIAL -

Richard Brown blames cuts in training because of the $1 million cut by the federal government. How long do Liberals think P.E.I. should remain a have-not province?

Brown ramped up the PNP. Why do we have to wait till next year to balance the budget?

Why aren't Island businesses raising wages or paying enough taxes to balance the budget this year?

Brown deserves an F, not paid extra for being a cabinet minister.

It is Brown who isn't performing and the Island economy under the Liberals still isn't providing revenues for a balanced budget.

There should be a surplus budget this year which would fund training.

Wade MacLauchlan should rethink his appointment of Brown. John W. A. Curtis, Summerside
