The funeral for Stella Catherine Driscoll was held Saturday, July 11, 2015 from the Davison Funeral Home, Kensington, to the Church of the Most Holy Redeemer in Charlottetown, where the funeral mass was celebrated at 10 a.m. by Rev. Charlie Cheverie. Co-celebrant was Rev. Isaac Chackalaparampil. The first reading was given by her goddaughter and cousin, Deborah Doucette. The second reading was given by her cousin, Heather Gillis. The prayers of the faithful were offered by her niece, Jeri Wilson. Altar servers were Kay Prosper, Gerald Coyle and Ivan Morrison. The prelude selection was The Last Mile of the Way. Opening hymn was Only a Shadow. The offertory hymn was Evening Prayer by soloist, grandniece, Kelsey Goodick. Communion hymn was I Know Who Holds Tomorrow. The meditation hymn was There is a River, by Kelsey Goodick. Incensing hymn was Go to Your God. The recessional hymn was How Great Thou Art. The choir was under the direction of Tom Wilkinson. Organist was Gary Cudmore. Attending the funeral were former Charlottetown Hospital nurses. The urn bearers were nephew, James Driscoll, and grandnephew, Nicholas Goodick-Sencabaugh. The funeral programs were distributed by grandnieces, Luka and Paris Wilson. Interment was in St. Mary's Cemetery, Indian River.
