The fu­neral for Stella Cather­ine Driscoll was held Satur­day, July 11, 2015 from the Dav­i­son Fu­neral Home, Kens­ing­ton, to the Church of the Most Holy Redeemer in Char­lot­te­town, where the fu­neral mass was cel­e­brated at 10 a.m. by Rev. Char­lie Chev­erie. Co-cel­e­brant was Rev. Isaac Chack­ala­parampil. The first read­ing was given by her god­daugh­ter and cousin, Deb­o­rah Doucette. The sec­ond read­ing was given by her cousin, Heather Gil­lis. The prayers of the faith­ful were of­fered by her niece, Jeri Wil­son. Al­tar servers were Kay Pros­per, Gerald Coyle and Ivan Mor­ri­son. The pre­lude se­lec­tion was The Last Mile of the Way. Open­ing hymn was Only a Shadow. The of­fer­tory hymn was Evening Prayer by soloist, grand­niece, Kelsey Good­ick. Com­mu­nion hymn was I Know Who Holds To­mor­row. The med­i­ta­tion hymn was There is a River, by Kelsey Good­ick. In­cens­ing hymn was Go to Your God. The re­ces­sional hymn was How Great Thou Art. The choir was un­der the di­rec­tion of Tom Wilkin­son. Or­gan­ist was Gary Cud­more. At­tend­ing the fu­neral were for­mer Char­lot­te­town Hos­pi­tal nurses. The urn bear­ers were nephew, James Driscoll, and grand­nephew, Ni­cholas Good­ick-Sen­cabaugh. The fu­neral pro­grams were dis­trib­uted by grand­nieces, Luka and Paris Wil­son. In­ter­ment was in St. Mary's Ceme­tery, In­dian River.
