Iris Jamieson, 82, of Monc­ton, with her lov­ing fam­ily at her side, passed away peace­fully at her res­i­dence on Tues­day, July 14, 2015. Born in Rom­ford, Eng­land, she was the daugh­ter of the late Frank and Doris (Pot­ter) Gar­rett. Iris was a for­mer Cus­tomer Demon­stra­tor with Sobeys and at­tended the King­dom Hall of Je­ho­vah’s Wit­nesses (Park­ton). She loved rais­ing her fam­ily and en­joyed help­ing her daugh­ters with her grand­chil­dren and great-grand­chil­dren. Iris en­joyed keep­ing in touch with fam­ily and friends from afar through writ­ing letters. Iris will be sadly missed by her lov­ing daugh­ters, Su­san Truckel ( John) of Toronto, ON, Ruth Grady (Ma­jor) of Summerside, P.E.I., Deb­o­rah Totino (Tony) of Hal­i­fax, N.S., and last, but not least, Sarah Dort ( John) of Monc­ton; hus­band of 59 years, An­drew “Andy” Jamieson; grand­chil­dren, Tarin, Andy, Amanda, Alysia, Nicco, An­dre, Caleb, Matthew, Jakob, Liam and Is­abela; great­grand­chil­dren, Ale­gra and Char­lotte; sis­ters, Doris, Frances and June, all of the UK, and San­dra of Aus­tralia; sev­eral nieces and neph­ews. In ad­di­tion to her par­ents, she was pre­de­ceased by her brother, Frank. A ser­vice to celebrate Iris’ life will be held at the King­dom Hall of Je­ho­vah’s Wit­nesses (Park­ton) (across from the YMCA), Monc­ton, on Satur­day, July 18, 2015 at 3 p.m. Fer­gu­sons Fu­neral Home, 1657 Moun­tain Road, Monc­ton (506858-1995) in care of ar­range­ments. The fam­ily would welcome your pres­ence at the cel­e­bra­tion.
