Le­gault sits seven back

Is­land ju­niors en­ter fi­nal round to­day at At­lantic tour­na­ment in New Brunswick

Char­lot­te­town’s Ryan Le­gault is seven shots be­hind the leader head­ing into to­day’s fi­nal round at the CN Fu­ture Links At­lantic Cham­pi­onship.

The ju­nior boys’ and girls’ tour­na­ment is be­ing held at the Gowan Brae Golf Club near Bathurst, N.B.

the sec­ond round just a shot off the lead. He shot a 6-over 78 on Wed­nes­day.

Calvin Ross of Fred­er­ic­ton, N.B., leads the ju­nior boys’ di­vi­sion by one stroke af­ter an even­par 72 on Wed­nes­day.

MacKen­zie Clow of Summerside shot an 80 and sits 12 shots off the lead. Tyler Hashmi and Jor­don Birt, both of Char­lot­te­town, are also 12 strokes back fol­low­ing a 78 and 77, re­spec­tively, in the sec­ond round.

Tyson Gavin of Tignish and Alex Tay­lor of Nine Mile Creek are 15 strokes back af­ter both shot 77s on Wed­nes­day.

Michael Favier of Char­lot­te­town shot a 78 to sit 16 off the lead while Luke Reeves-Rollins of Free­town shot an 80 and is 19 back. Colin Keoughan of Stratford is 20-over par af­ter shoot­ing an 80, Bran­don Ram­say of Summerside is 29-over af­ter an 85, Cam White of Belle River is 31over af­ter an 86, Grant Koughan of Stratford is 31-over af­ter two rounds af­ter shoot­ing an 84, T.J. McLeod of Char­lot­te­town is 35- over af­ter an 87 and Sam McNeill of Summerside is 37-over af­ter an 87.

In the girls’ di­vi­sion, P.E.I.’s lone rep­re­sen­ta­tive Bai­ley Carr of Char­lot­te­town shot an 85 on Wed­nes­day and en­ters the fi­nal round to­day 19 shots be­hind leader Al­li­son Chan­dler of Ch­ester, N.S.
