Town requires niche attractions

The Guardian (Charlottetown) - - EDITORIAL -

Georgetown has the best natural harbour on the Island and should use it to promote tourism. Their best bet is attracting cruise ships because of their excellent port. However, they must offer some interesting tourist packages for the day in port. It is recognized by the Atlantic Cruise Ship Association as a niche port so the town needs to offer some interesting things for tourists to do while in port such as guided bus tours to see and visit the Basin head museum for the day.
