Three Pink Bows fastest on SRW card

Three Pink Bows was the fastest three-year-old filly five di­vi­sions of the At­lantic Sires Stakes on Thurs­day night.

Three Pink Bows stopped the clock in 1:58.3 to win the first of two $12,680 A di­vi­sions dur­ing the 12-dash Gover­nor’s Plate Week rac­ing pro­gram at Red Shores at Summerside Race­way.

Danny Romo drove Three Pink Bows for own­ers Tanya Trem­blett of Syd­ney Mines, N.S., and Stevi Jar­dine of Ge­orges River, N.S.

Another off-Is­land en­try also won the sec­ond A event. Jann Down, owned by the Downey Sta­bles of Quis­pam­sis, N.B., and driven by Gilles Bar­rieau, cir­cled the oval in 1:59.3.

The $2,500 B di­vi­sions were won by the Mark Bradley-driven Blue and Gold (2:01.4), Tobins Lady (2:00.1), driven by coowner Jason Hughes of Stratford, and This girl can hunt (2:00.4), with Nor­ris Rogers in the sulky.

Art­ners In Crime and driver Ron Mathe­son had the fastest trip of the night - 1:56 flat - in the By­ron Gamester Me­mo­rial Pace.

Le­mon Gin and driver Mark Bradley won the Cam Cameron Me­mo­rial Pace in 1:59.1.
