I was try­ing to de­cide on a head­line that would ac­cu­rately con­vey the task at hand. That one made the short list. This sum­mer, the Water­mark Theatre, nes­tled in the northest of the Rus­ti­cos, is stag­ing a taste­ful adap­ta­tion of “Romeo and Juliet”. Ap­par­ently, it is the first pro­fes­sional pro­duc­tion of Shake­speare on P.E.I. in over 50 years, and only the third in the last cen­tury.
