Pension needs to rise in Oct.?

The Guardian (Charlottetown) - - EDITORIAL -

Many people are calling for an increase to the Canadian Pension Plan so that people retiring without a workplace pension will have enough to live on. Stephen Harper and his cronies show how out of touch they are with the rest of Canada by continually calling the CPP a ‘payroll tax.’ Recently, in Question Period, Finance Minister Joe Oliver said "What we will not do is reach into the pockets of Canadians with a mandatory payroll tax.”

It’s a pension plan, fellas, something the lot of you might need come October. Lloyd Kerry, Charlottetown
