The death oc­curred at Prince County Hos­pi­tal, Summerside on Mon­day, July 20, 2015 of John “Jack” Phillips of Eller­slie, age 68 years. Born in Eller­slie on March 13, 1947, son of the late Wen­dell and He­len (Sabine) Phillips. Jack is sur­vived by his brother Wayne (Myrna), Summerside; sis­ter An­nie Lou Mil­lar, Free­land; brother War­ren (Linda), Char­lot­te­town; brother in law Mal­colm Wil­liams, Free­land. Lov­ing Un­cle to nieces and neph­ews Anne (Mark) Dy­ment, Kathy Anne (Steve) Haslam, Kent (Tammy) Wil­iams, Paul Phillips, Lorna (Steve) Martin, David Phillips (Lyanna Somers), Darcy Lawrence (Amanda), Dar­rell Lawrence and Christo­pher Mac­Don­ald and 13 great nieces and neph­ews. He is also sur­vived by Un­cles and Aunts An­nie Lou (Ge­orge) MacIsaac, Wavell (San­dra) Sabine, Phyl­lis Hux­ley, Pat Sabine and Vi­vian Phillips. Pre­de­ceased by his par­ents, sis­ter Jean Wil­liams and brother in law Car­men Mil­lar. Rest­ing at Fer­gu­son Tyne Val­ley Fu­neral Chapel with vis­i­ta­tion on Wed­nes­day, July 22 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Fu­neral will be held on Thurs­day in the Chapel at 11 a.m. In­ter­ment will fol­low in Bide­ford United Church Ceme­tery.
