The fu­neral for Claudia O’Meara (nee Bryan­ton), of Char­lot­te­town, was held on Wed­nes­day, July 8, 2015 from Hen­nessey Cut­cliffe Char­lot­te­town Fu­neral Home Chapel where the fu­neral was con­ducted by Rev­erend Ashok Veer­abathina, who also de­liv­ered the homily and of­fered the prayers of in­ter­ces­sion. The les­son was pro­claimed by Flora Anne Whitty. Dur­ing the ser­vice, soloist, Flora Anne Whitty, ren­dered the en­trance hymn, Here I Am Lord, and the clos­ing hymn, How Great Thou Art. The or­gan­ist was Judy Dono­van Whitty. Also dur­ing the ser­vice, the mu­si­cal piece, Hal­lelu­jah, by K.D. Lang, was played on CD. Honorary pall­bear­ers were ev­ery­one in at­ten­dance. Among those at­tend­ing the fu­neral liturgy were rep­re­sen­ta­tives of the Na­tional Bank.
