Santa’s Angels summer festival is this weekend

The Guardian (Charlottetown) - - THE PROVINCE -

Even though Christmas is still nearly half a year away, Santa Claus is coming to Charlottetown this weekend.

The second annual Santa’s Angels Summer Festival is being held Sunday in Victoria Park from noon to 6 p.m.

All proceeds from the festival will go to the volunteer-based charity, which delivers food and gifts to those in need on Christmas morning.

This includes raising money and purchasing gifts, as well as dressing like Santa and his elves to spread cheer to those who may otherwise have a less-than-magical Christmas.

Sunday’s festival will see Santa giving out toys, as well as bouncy castles, a petting zoo, face painting, dunk tank and live entertainment.

The festival admission is free.
