Re­pairs close li­brary

The li­brary in the base­ment of the vil­lage of­fice in Tyne Val­ley is also closed for re­pairs.

It’s been closed since May 10 when a burst sewer pipe was dis­cov­ered.

Vil­lage ad­min­is­tra­tor Marie Bar­low said it’s ex­pected re­pairs and cleanup there will be com­pleted by the end of this week.

Books that would nor­mally be for­warded to the Tyne Val­ley li­brary are be­ing re­dis­tributed to other li­braries in the sys­tem, said Grace Daw­son, branch and com­mu­nity ser­vices li­brar­ian for ru­ral li­braries.

Mem­bers who would nor­mally use the Tyne Val­ley li­brary can drop off or pick up books at any of the other fa­cil­i­ties
