Peace­fully at the Riverview Manor on Mon­day July 20, 2015 the pass­ing of J. Charles Murchi­son of Mon­tague aged 78 years. Beloved hus­band of the late Linda (Nee Richards). Dear fa­ther of Rhonda (Colin) Pater­son, John, Fred (Can­dace), Mary Lou (Tim Paul) Murchi­son , Donna Mae (Randy) Hume, An­drea (Mark) Gotell, Darla (Ryan) Mur­phy. Lov­ing grand­fa­ther to Ri­ley, Taunya ( Justin), Levi, Char­lie, MacKen­zie, Mi­ley, Julienne ( Josh), Kail­ley (Tyler), Lo­gan, Grace, Re­bac­cah (David), Kelsie, Ab­bie, Terissa, Con­nor, Made­lyn, Mag­gie, Chloe and Darby; and great-grand­fa­ther to So­phie, Ava, Jack­son and Ma­son. Charles is the brother-in-law of Robin Han­cock (Ralph), Harold (Della) Richards, Pauline Richards (Frank), Irma Richards. Charles was pre­de­ceased by his par­ents Jack and Mae (Nee Ni­chol­son) Murchi­son of Glen Wil­liam, his son Allen Murchi­son and broth­ers and sis­ter-inlaws Lester and Vi­vian Richards, Roger Richards and par­ents-in­law Sheldon and Mar­guerite Richards. Dad worked at var­i­ous things, Com­mis­sion­aire at the QEH, Northum­ber­land Ferry Ltd. Wen­dall Graham Ltd and the fish­ing in­dus­try. Rest­ing at the Fer­gu­son Lo­gan Fu­neral Home from where the fu­neral ser­vice will be held in the fu­neral home chapel Satur­day at 10 a.m. In­ter­ment to fol­low in the Cale­do­nia Ceme­tery.
