The death oc­curred peace­fully at Souris Hos­pi­tal, sur­rounded by her lov­ing fam­ily on Fri­day, July 24, 2015 of Mil­dred Camp­bell (nee Mac­Don­ald) of Souris, aged 92 years, de­voted wife of the late Pius Camp­bell. Born in Chep­stow, she was the daugh­ter of the late Syl and Belle (MacKin­non) Mac­Don­ald and won­der­ful mother to Cliff (Glenda) Camp­bell, Stratford; Anne (Carl) Peters, Souris; Andy Camp­bell, Summerside; Mar­leen (Wayne) Clark, Clin­ton; Velma (Blaine) Ma­cLean, Stan­hope. For­ever loved by her 12 grand­chil­dren, Dr. Scott (Colleen) Camp­bell, Randy Camp­bell (Me­gan Burn­side) , Thea Camp­bell ( Joel Mail­let), Colin ( Jean­nie) Peters, Dr. Marla Peters (Dr. Jor­dan d’Eon), Joseph Camp­bell, Foch Camp­bell, Jor­dan Clark, Lesley Clark, Erin Ma­cLean, Ross Ma­cLean, Kyla Ma­cLean; and seven cher­ished great-grand­chil­dren; Fiona, So­phie, and Beck­ett Camp­bell; Cameron and Brook­lyn Peters; Ja­cob d’Eon; and Khloe Camp­bell. Also re­mem­bered by sis­ters-in-law, Cathy Camp­bell and Til­lie Mac­Don­ald, by sev­eral nieces and neph­ews and by ded­i­cated friend, Anne (Kenny) Mac­Don­ald. Be­sides her hus­band and par­ents, she was pre­de­ceased by her daugh­ter, Lynn; broth­ers Elmer Mac­Don­ald and Joey Syl Mac­Don­ald; and by sis­ters, Mar­guerite Mac­Don­ald, Alice Mac­Don­ald and He­len MacAu­lay. Rest­ing at the Ding­well Fu­neral Home, Souris for vis­it­ing hours on Sun­day, July 26 from 1 to 3 p.m. and 6 to 9 p.m. and on Mon­day from 9:30 a.m. un­til the time of the fu­neral. The fu­neral will be held on Mon­day, July 27 with fu­neral Mass at St. Mary’s Ro­man Catholic Church, Souris at 11 a.m. In­tern­ment in the fam­ily plot at St. Mary’s Ceme­tery.
