Hiring of Crane new strategy?

The Guardian (Charlottetown) - - EDITORIAL -

Regarding the Olive Crane appointment: I was overjoyed to hear of this example of the new MacLauchlan government’s leaner operating strategy. Instead of wasting hours and hours using well-paid government employees of the Public Service Commission, the minister was able, by himself and with one deputy, to find Olive Crane, the one Islander able to reach out to unemployed and underemployed Islanders to help them find work.

Keep up the good work, Mr. Premier, oh, and Olive - I have a few friends looking for work. Lloyd Kerry Charlottetown
