Cougars win Fid­dler tour­na­ment

The Cornwall Cougars mos­quito AAA base­ball team won its third tour­na­ment of the sum­mer af­ter beat­ing the Dart­mouth Ar­rows 13-12 in the bot­tom of the sixth in­ning at the Fid­dler me­mo­rial tour­na­ment last week­end in Char­lot­te­town. Cornwall al­ready has tour­ney cham­pi­onships in Dieppe and Riverview, N.B., and went 5-1 at the Fid­dler, los­ing to the Mi­ramichi Twins in the round robin.
