Peace­fully, sur­rounded by his wife and chil­dren, the death oc­curred at the Queen El­iz­a­beth Hos­pi­tal, on July 27, 2015 of Paul Ge­orge Hat­ton of Marie, aged 63. Paul was well known in the farm­ing com­mu­nity as owner/op­er­a­tor of Hat­ton Farms for more than 40 years. Sur­vived by his wife, Co­lette (nee Dunn), and by his chil­dren; Jacinda; Ka­t­rina (Stephen Power); Nick ( Jill); Mike (Lynne); and Stephanie (Wycliffe Ogucha), grand­chil­dren; Jaden and Ella McEach­ern; Kasen and Brody Power; Rya and Halle Hat­ton; Henry Hat­ton; Felix and Pre­ston Hat­ton; as well as three more grand­chil­dren to ar­rive in the com­ing months. Also sur­vived by his sib­lings, Janet (Marty) Martin­dale; Mar­garet (Tony) Kelly; Pamela (Ralph) Comp­ton; Bev­er­ley (Barry) Mur­phy; Karen ( James) Rob­bins; Chris­tine Comp­ton; John Hat­ton; Win­ston (Pam) Hat­ton; and Sheila (Lloyd) Keep­ing; as well as his broth­ers and sis­ters-in-law, Kenny (Sharon) Dunn; Sis­ter Gemma Dunn; Cle­tus (Linda) Dunn; An­drea (Gerald) McCarthy; Pa­trice (Don­ald) Mac­Don­ald; He­lene (Kerry) Moore; and Fran­cie (Doug) MacDougall and nu­mer­ous nieces and neph­ews. Pre­de­ceased by his in­fant daugh­ter, Frances; his par­ents, Wil­liam and Mavis Hat­ton; his in­fant brother, Kent Hat­ton; his brother-in-law, John Comp­ton; and his mother and fa­therin-law, Frank and Eileen Dunn. By per­sonal re­quest, there will be no vis­i­ta­tion. There will be a pri­vate fam­ily gath­er­ing in ac­cor­dance with Paul’s wishes. Your thoughts, kind words and shared mem­o­ries are greatly ap­pre­ci­ated. Flow­ers are grate­fully de­clined. Ar­range­ments are en­trusted to North Shore Fu­neral Home, Morell.
